Hello! Well, after (some) criticism and mocking of this concept, I too am jumping on the blogging bangwagon. I'm heading to India in 9 days with a superb crew of University of Guelph students and wanted a way to keep anyone interested in our adventures updated on a regular(ish) basis. Though I enjoy reading other people's blogs I've never considered doing it myself - until now. I want to be able to share my adventures in India and I want them accessible to anyone who's interested, so this was the perfect solution!
My blog [ugh, what a terrible word. blog].. will contain highlights, anecdotes, jokes, thoughts, challenges, experiences and hopefully photos along the way. You may be familiar with the incredible movie Slumdog Millionaire and its theme song, Jai Ho. Jai means victory, Ho means to happen, so basically it means 'may you be victorious.' I hope to Jai Ho in some way during my travels abroad and I plan to share my Jai Hos with you - enjoy!
